Instructional Technologist II - Anticipated

Details: The Instructional Technologist II develops eLearning programs using the Lectora authoring tool for LTB projects. These projects consist of webinars, self-study programs, and eLearning courses. Converts storyboards to eLearning courses developed in Lectora, integrates multimedia components into eLearning courses, develops unique navigations systems, packages courses in SCORM for integration on Sum Total and TRAIN learning management systems, as well as provides training to less experienced staff regarding the use of Lectora.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESEssential duties and responsibilities include the following. Will immediately correct any unsafe conditions as the best of own ability.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCEBachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design or Communications Design and 3 years of experience or five or more years of experience in lieu of degree. Must have experience using the Lectora authoring software. Must have experience instructing others in the use of Lectora software. Must be an experienced instructional designer. Must have strong analytical skills, proven problem solving-ability, and ability to develop and follow-through with creative solutions for design and development tasks. Must have the ability to elicit, capture, and document requirements directly from end-users and design systems according to those requirements.Preferred experience: Experience serving as a project manager or technical lead; Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; Experience working in the public health field.
