He or she reports directly to the Campus President keeping him/her abreast of all planning, organizing, staff, and development of Admissions. Job Responsibilities (with percent of time allocated to each activity group): The expectation is that the majority of an Admissions Representative’s time will be spent directly interacting with prospects/students either in person or on the phone. It is also expected that the Admissions Representative meet all minimum standards outlined per the performance management program. Prospect/Student Interaction (90%) Building Relationships • Take inquiry calls from all potential students interested in knowing or receiving information about the programs—including entrance requirements, curricula and academic standards—and encourage qualified prospects to schedule an appointment for an interview. • Return web inquiries and calls promptly to all potential students and give accurate information about the programs, including entrance requirements, curricula and academic standards. • Make outbound phone calls to potential students that have expressed interest in attending the institution. Outbound calling efforts are a key component of this role. • Participation in organized phone-a-thons according to company best practices is required and is an essential part of day-to-day activity. • Initiate unsolicited leads and generate new business when not responding to outstanding inquiries or working with current prospects/students. • Follow up on all inquiries that fail to schedule or show for an interview. • Follow up with interviews that did not progress in the enrollment process and dropped/cancelled students to resolve any issues or address concerns. Interviews • Schedule and conduct student interviews, wherein any reference to Financial Aid complies with the stated Company Policy. • Utilize only approved company materials during the interview process, and conduct interviews according to the stated policies and process at all times.  • Meet with the potential students to explain the program offering and match the college’s benefits and advantages to the student’s needs. Discuss and advise suitable programs in accordance with the student’s desires, qualifications and objectives. • Make all efforts to ensure that admissions management meets with the potential student and is well informed about the student’s motivations and concerns about attending the college. Mentoring and Guidance (5%) • Provide basic information and routine advice, guidance and assistance to students using established procedures and policies on available programs and eligibility requirements, including the application of policies, procedures and documentation regarding the admissions process. • Serve as a liaison between student and campus, and make all necessary enrollment forms available and assist in completion as needed (including reviewing applications and related documentation for compliance, partnering with Finance to ensure a high level of customer service during the transition, and following up to ensure that financial aid packaging is complete). • Mentor and advise students to help them identify their unique skills and interests.  • Address any easily-resolved inquiries, questions, concerns or issues (may refer more difficult issues to a more experienced staff member), and ensure appropriate action is taken to the satisfaction of the student, Company, and/or regulatory agencies in compliance with policy, procedures and legal requirements. Administrative (5%) • Accurately account for all inquiries and the admissions activity associated with all inquiries. • Complete daily activity reports. • Ensure that all pre-start paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner. • Keep all required reports current and accurate, including information stored in the system. • Attend and successfully complete all training for this position, as required at any time by the Company. • Perform other duties as assigned by local leaders. • Attend meetings as directed by supervisor. Admissions RN - Per Diem/PRN

Details: The Admissions Nurse is a registered nurse and an Interdisciplinary Team Member whose primary responsibility is to present VITAS services and philosophy to patients and families in a manner that results in the admission of appropriate patients. Bachelor's degree preferred from an accredited college/university with consideration also given to international equivalent.Must be currently licensed as a RN in the state where the VITAS program is located. Qualified candidates must have a minimum of two (2) years experience as a RN in acute or sub-acute care.Previous oncology and previous sales experience preferred.Knowledge of clinical manifestations of diseases and ability to develop VITAS specific clinical knowledge.HOSPICE OR OTHER RELATED EXPERIENCE PREFERRED.  RN will cover patients being admitted throughout the Greater Philadelphia area.This is a Per Diem/PRN position with some flexibility in schedule.

Due to the highly regulated nature of the industry please be advised all phone and interview interaction with potential students may be recorded and audited for compliance and quality assurance purposes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities           1.  To be present, ready to work, on-time for all scheduled hours. 2.  Conducts telephone interviews to screen potential student applicants and set up school visits with each applicant. 3.   Conducts personal interviews to qualify candidates, present features and benefits of the program offerings and prepare the student to start in the next available class. 4.  Upholds the highest standard of ethics and truthfulness in providing information to prospective students regarding educational programs, facilities, educational costs, financial aid, completion/graduation/placement and earnings data. 5. Effectively addresses student’s concerns and assists them in their transition into school.  6. Accurately presents the responsibility of the student as to what it takes to successfully start school, be successful in school, and graduate. 7.  For those involved in high school outreach, communicates and networks with educators and other high school personnel to schedule and present the school’s outreach program presentations. 8.  Maintains full knowledge of the institution catalog so as to be able to fully explain all course offerings and to select a program which best fits each student’s needs and goals and provides the student with all required student disclosure statements and information.   9.  The representative will insure that all prospective students will be given the opportunity to meet with a Financial Aid Associate and given a tour of the school prior to signing an enrollment agreement or contract. Representatives will refer prospective students to a third party informational website that details the key questions to ask when choosing a school and the typical issues surrounding transferability of credit. 10.  Assists students in completing all relevant applications and assures all required documents are obtained so that the student meets the admissions requirements of the institution. 11. Completes the student application process by obtaining the application fee and the student application form. 12.  Ensures that satisfactory enrollment agreements are completed with each enrolled student including proof of prior education, test scores, transferable courses and other enrollment variables that may prohibit student’s enrollment. 13.  Fully understands the tuition financing options and sources. Fully understands and explains the student’s responsibilities and is able to convey basic program eligibility requirements. Refers students to the financial aid department so that financial aid can be considered and be available when needed.  Admissions representatives may not provide guidance to prospective students regarding financial aid. 14.  Communicates with other departments to convey the needs of each individual student. 15.  Solicits referrals and Personally Developed Referrals (PDRs) from all prospective students.  16. Participates as a team player. 17.  Utilizes competent administrative skills by completing administrative tasks on time. 18.   Follows up on all student inquiries in a prompt manner so as to provide excellent customer service to meet the needs of each prospect. 19.  Handles all other duties as assigned.

Maintains effective communication with Consulate Health Care personnel, as assigned. Attends and participates in weekly admissions/operations meetings, as assigned by Regional Vice President of Admissions. Participates in the facility quality improvement process by identifying customer service issues and reporting these issues to the Executive Director. Accesses continuing education opportunities appropriate to discipline and responsibilities as approved by Regional Vice President of Admissions. Adheres to all Consulate Health Care Policies and Procedures, and participates in safety, quality improvement and infection control programs as assigned.
