Aircrew Training Devices Instr/AC-130H Instructor

Details: Security Clearance: SecretAssociate’s Degree or Higher.Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.Previously qualified AC-130H/U Aerial Gunner Instructor, or a minimum of 400 hours of AC-130H/U time. Experience in military flight operations and training. Current in U.S. military aircraft within the previous 4 years, or within the previous 6 years if the candidate has performed eleven (11) years of military operational flying duty.Working knowledge of the following regulations: T.O. 1C-130(A)H-1, AFI 11-2AC-130 Vol 1, AC-130 Aircrew training; Vol 2, AC-130 Evaluation Criteria; Vol 3, AC-130 Operations Procedures; and all appropriate, current AFSOC regulations.Be able to communicate effectively with coworkers. Responsibilities for AC-130H Aerial Gunner:This Position will be filled for Cannon AFB, NM locationDeliver platform instruction to Special Operations aircrew utilizing ATARS courseware and training media. Provide instruction to aircrew utilizing aircraft statics, aircrew training devices and computer based instruction. Operate training devices and serve as role players for mission rehearsal operations. Provide subject matter expertise for lesson and course development, maintenance and upgrade. Maintain familiarity with applicable tech orders and AFSOC instructions and review courseware to ensure accuracy of lesson content. Submit training change proposals where appropriate for development and upgrade of lessons. Fly at least annually as observer on AC-130H aircraft to observe current aircrew procedures and techniques. Support engineering and maintenance functions during test and evaluation of training devices. Perform other collateral duties as assigned by the Contract Instructor Lead. Reports to the Contract Weapon System Lead regarding accomplishment of assigned duties and responsibilities. Comply with all Lockheed Martin policy and procedures. This position is governed by a collective bargaining agreement.
