Details: Dean, Ken Blanchard College of BusinessGrand Canyon University is a Christian University seeking a visionary, experienced leader for our growing Ken Blanchard College of Business. The Ken Blanchard College of Business has over 6000 students in both campus and on-line programs. The College is ACBSP accredited and employs over 200 faculty including both full time and adjunct. The Ken Blanchard College of Business houses multiple undergraduate and graduate business programs in the key major areas of business, sports management, leadership and entrepreneurial studies.The successful candidate will have experience in the leadership of academic programs in business with both traditional and online programs/faculty/students; practical business and operational leadership experience; evidence of ability to work with business leaders for networking and experiential learning opportunities; experience developing and evaluating business-related curricula; and proven ability to manage budgeting processes. A doctoral degree in a business related field is necessary to be considered. The Dean of the College of Business: Reports to the President. Oversees all management and operations within the College of Business. Appoints all program directors and department chairs within the College. Works with the Registrar to ensure accuracy of the University catalog. Ensures quality instruction across the College. Assumes responsibility for the viability of the College by creating and managing the revenue and expenses. Develops the strategic plan for the College of Business in alignment with the University strategic plan. Investigates new program development to grow the College of Business. Interviews all prospective full-time faculty members and works with the Chief Academic Officer and Human Resources to secure hiring. Maintains accreditation status and programmatic growth, all while working within the budget. Defines and interprets policies of the college in accordance to accrediting standards. Ensures quality of online and ground programs. Implements and set expectations for recruitment and retention of students.
